This quick easy recipe uses simple pantry ingredients and takes only a few minutes to prepare but it is packed with flavor and health benefits.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)

  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  •  1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper 

  • 1 1/2 tsp smoked sea salt (or regular sea salt)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp ground pepper 

  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp dried basil

Directions

  • Combine spices in a shallow dish

  • Pat fish dry with paper towel then press each side of fish into the spice mix to coat evenly

  • In a flat skillet, heat oil over medium heat

  • Sear fish on one side until spices darken then flip and repeat on other side

  • Serve
