Ingredients

  • 1 pack TRELLIS Snapper fillets

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated or thinly sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or thinly sliced

  • salt (to taste)

  • black pepper (to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish, optional)

  • Cooked rice or steamed vegetables (for serving)

Directions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Make the Glaze:

    In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic and spices. This is your sesame ginger glaze.

  • Prepare the Snapper:

    Cut the snapper fillets into desired portions and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a shallow dish or on a plate.

  • Brush with Glaze:

    Brush the snapper fillets generously with the sesame ginger glaze, ensuring an even coating.

  • Bake:

    Place the glazed snapper fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly oiled. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  • Broil (Optional):

    For an extra touch, you can broil the snapper for an additional 2-3 minutes until the glaze becomes slightly caramelized.

  • Garnish:

    Remove the snapper from the oven, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

  • Serve:
