Storage

Our vacuum-packed products can be frozen for up to 12 months and should not be thawed until they are ready for preparation.

Thawing

To thaw, we recommend removing the frozen product from the original packaging, putting it in a plastic bag that is not vacuum-sealable and placing it in a dish in the refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours. 

For faster thawing, place the frozen packet a bowl of cool tap water for 30 minutes. If the item is not fully thawed in 30 minutes, open the packet to release the seal and allow air to enter the bag and continue the thawing process for a few more minutes.

Preparation

Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness. We recommend cooking seafood to an internal temperature of 145°F.
